Headshot Booths for Trade Shows, Conferences and Exhibition Stands

Your visitors walk away with a portrait they will actually use, and you walk away with their details.

You know how most stand giveaways go. A branded bottle gets picked up, carried around for an afternoon and left behind in a hotel room.

A professional headshot is different, because it is something your visitor genuinely wants and would otherwise pay for. That changes who stops. The person queuing for a good LinkedIn portrait is often exactly the person your sales team came to meet.

Delivered on the spot

There is no waiting, and no follow-up email a week later that half of them ignore.

Each person is photographed, chooses up to five shots from the screen, enters their name and email address, and the images arrive from your branded address within seconds. They can be using the portrait on LinkedIn before they have left the building.

That matters more than it sounds. A good photograph taken twenty minutes ago is about the most postable thing anyone has at a trade show, and plenty of people update their profile from the show floor. Your activation gets talked about while the show is still running.

Why we can deliver that fast

We light for skin rather than fixing it afterwards. Our very large, very soft studio light evens skin tone and softens texture as the picture is taken, so it is finished when it is shot. With no retouching, there is nothing to wait for, so 200 portraits a day never turn into a backlog.

Capacity

One studio photographs 25 people an hour. Over an eight-hour show day, that is up to 200 portraits and up to 200 sets of contact details from a single headshot booth. For busier shows, we run multiple studios side by side, each with a photographer and an assistant.

What you get

  • Traffic, valuable traffic. A working headshot booth pulls a queue, and a queue pulls more people. Your stand stops being one of forty visitors walk past.
  • Dwell time. Each person spends several minutes at your stand rather than several seconds. That is the window in which your team actually gets to talk to them.
  • Verified contact details. The photographs only arrive if the address works, so you end up with email addresses people have confirmed on the spot. That is a different quality of list from a badge scan.
  • Your brand in their inbox immediately, while they still remember the conversation.

Your data, handled properly

The list is the reason you are doing this, so it needs to hold up.

We capture explicit, informed consent at the booth. Before they sit down, we tell everyone who is collecting their details, what they will be used for, and who they will be shared with. We record consent with each entry, so your marketing team gets a list they can use instead of one that legal makes them delete.

We do not retain or reuse your visitors’ data afterwards. It is yours.

Pricing

£4,750 per studio for an eight-hour show day.

£500 per hour beyond that. Everything is included: crew, equipment, instant delivery from your branded address, and the consent records. At full capacity, that works out at under £24 per person photographed.

Additional studios and additional days are quoted on the same basis.

Event headshot booth questions

What is an event headshot booth?

A working studio set up inside your venue, also sold as a headshot station or a headshot lounge. Delegates sit for a few minutes with a photographer, choose their own shots from the screen, and the images reach them before they have left the hall. It suits trade shows, expos, conferences and sales kick-offs. For photographing a whole workforce in their own offices instead, see staff and company headshots.

How much does a conference headshot booth cost?

4,750 pounds per studio for an eight-hour show day, and 500 pounds an hour beyond that. Crew, equipment, instant delivery from your branded address and the consent records are all included. At full capacity that works out at under 24 pounds per person photographed. Additional studios and additional days are quoted on the same basis, and our full pricing is here.

How many delegates can you photograph in a day?

One studio photographs 25 people an hour, so around 200 attendees across an eight-hour day. For busier shows we run several studios side by side, each with its own photographer and assistant. We would rather add a studio than rush anyone. You can see how that works at scale in our Vienna conference case study.

How much space does a headshot booth need on an exhibition stand?

Three metres by three metres is comfortable for one studio and we have worked in less. We need a power socket. Everything else is ours, including the lighting and the delivery system.

How quickly do attendees get their headshots?

Within seconds, sent from your branded email address. There is no retouching queue, because we light for skin rather than correcting it afterwards, so the picture is finished when it is taken.
